To ensure the stability and safety of the door, the Barn Door Hardware Kit includes 2 door stoppers that slide along the rail and tighten down at any point to stop your door exactly where you want, with rubber caps for a quiet close. Additionally, a T-shaped floor guide is supplied (with anchors) to prevent the door from swinging out or up against the baseboard, and 2 anti-jumpers that go on top of the door and won't allow the door to be lifted off the rail unless they're turned.
The kit is suitable for a variety of door thicknesses, ranging from 1 3/8" to 1 3/4". If the studs don't line up with the pre-drilled holes in the rail or there is a doorway trim, and the "door depth" plus "trim depth" is greater than 2", a headboard is needed. Additionally, a minimum of 5" from the top of your door to the ceiling (or crown molding, if any) is required for this kit to fit correctly.
The Barn Door Hardware Kit is available in various sizes and finishes, including 48" x 84" in Natural, White, and Grey, as well as a 42" x 84" in White. With a weight capacity of 150lb-220lb, the kit can be paired with wood, glass, and MDF barn doors.
