To ensure the stability and safety of the door, our Barn Door Hardware Kits include 4 Door Stoppers, 2 Floor Guides, and 4 Anti-Jumpers. The Door Stoppers slide along the rail and tighten down at any point to stop your door exactly where you want, with rubber caps for a quiet close. The T-shaped Floor Guides (with anchors) are supplied to prevent the door from swinging out or up against the baseboard. The Anti-Jumpers, small round discs that go on top of the door, prevent the door from being lifted off the rail unless they are turned.

If the studs don't line up with the pre-drilled holes in the rail or if the "door depth" plus "trim depth" is greater than 2 inches, you will need a headboard. Additionally, you will require a minimum of 5 inches from the top of your door to the ceiling (or crown molding, if any) for this kit to fit correctly. Our kits can accommodate a wide range of door thicknesses, from 1 3/8 inches to 1 3/4 inches, by either countersinking the bolt head into the back of the door or by using longer bolts from your local hardware store.
