Our DIY Barn Door Hardware Kits are designed to ensure the stability and safety of your door. They come with 2 door stoppers that slide along the rail and tighten down at any point to stop your door exactly where you want, with rubber caps for a quiet close. Additionally, a T-shaped floor guide is supplied (with anchors) to prevent the door from swinging out or up against the baseboard. The kits also include 2 anti-jumpers, which are little round discs that go on top of the door and won't allow the door to be lifted off the rail unless they're turned.
When it comes to installation, you may need a headboard if the studs don't line up with the pre-drilled holes in the rail or if the "door depth" plus "trim depth" is greater than 2". You'll also need a minimum of 6 inches from the top of your door to the ceiling (or crown molding, if any) for the kit to fit correctly. The kits can accommodate a wide range of door thicknesses, from 1 3/8" to 1 3/4", with solutions for any thickness.
